"In her 1984 book, Peters exposed for the first time how the United Nations altered the criteria for Palestinians to gain refugee status, thereby exacerbating the problem far beyond its actual scope. She discovered that by changing the definition and allowing the descents of Palestinian refugees to inherit refugee status, Palestinian refugees in large part did not fit the U.N.'s own definition of who is a refugee." Are the millions of descendants of Arabs who in 1948 fled Israel real "Refugees" deserving UN, US and most European and Arab countries financial support?
Here is David P. Goldman's article about the so-called "Palestinian Refugees." It is a short article but mighty in importance.
Never forget the fact that the larger number of Jewish refugees who were chased out of Arab countries were completely absorbed and housed in Israel by 1955, while the smaller number of Arab refugees who fled Israel were never absorbed by the Arab countries to which they fled.
An important article by Vic Rosenthal, A.K.A. ABU YEHUDA.
It provides a lot of food for thought, however, I do not share the pessimism hidden in the article's title.
So far the Zionist national right in Israel is strengthening and growing and the viral revival of anti-Semitism in the West and the left ensure Israel as a national home of the Jewish people.
“Don’t believe the Middle East experts and professionals on the peace process. Anyone who served in the State Department for the past 30 years is thought of as an expert on the peace process. But he also failed consistently in bringing peace, and you should only take him with a grain of salt. These experts did not anticipate any of the most significant events that happened in the Middle East, including the Arab Spring. They thought that it would all end with democracy, but look what’s happening today. They’ve already failed, so why believe them?”
"Abbas's speech has done two things. First, it has stripped the Palestinians' Western backers of their fig leaves. They have been left supporting an openly unhinged Jew-hater. There is now no Palestinian Arab position they can pretend passes the basic smell test of decency and conscience.
Second, it showed he realizes the game is up. Palestinianism is over." M.P.
I know, and you know, that Alan Dershowitz is a staunch supporter of Israel and a real Zionist, with one strange and sad exception, he has not yet renounced the long bankrapt Two States Solution. Two comments:
1) Those who still believe in the viability of an independent Arab state in Judea & Samaria is hallucinating.
2)Two States, Israel and Palestine, have long been a reality. They do exist. They are called Israel and Jordan.
No one is really shocked, of course. This is simply a form of bullying. The Left has co-opted our good manners and our good will in order to silence our opposition to their bad policies. The idea is to make it seem impolite and immoral to mention the obvious.
No person of importance on the right seeks to silence anyone on the left. The Left, on the other hand, is broadly committed to ostracizing, blacklisting, and even criminalizing right-wing speech.
For Nurse Ratched, read Hillary Clinton, CNN, the New York Times, Yale University, Twitter, and Google/YouTube—all the tender ministers of polite silence and enforced dishonesty. If Donald Trump’s boorishness crashes like a bull through the crystal madhouse of their leftism—well, good. It’s about time.
People don’t understand that the demonization of Israel isn’t merely “criticism.” Nor do they understand that antisemitism isn’t just an expression of dislike or hatred. Both are instead a particular form of derangement – a repudiation of reason and the replacement of truth by paranoid and malevolent lies.
